The 2024 TRU Grand Finalists are confirmed with the penultimate week of statewide juniors and seniors delivering some cracking results.

In the Premiership semi finals, Salisio Naisorotabu and Kyle Lombard ran rampant as premiers Launceston 1 rolled Glenorchy 47-14 to book their fourth consecutive grand final berth.

Taroona produced a similar result at home over Devonport, running in six tries to two for an emphatic 45-12 win to earn a third straight invite to the big dance.

Launceston 2 delivered a Championship semi final upset, rocking Burnie 41-34 at Emu Park, while minor premiers Hobart Lions did in tough in a 12-3 win over University in Sandy Bay.

In the women's competition, Taroona pushed past Tigers 15-0 to punch their grand final ticket before UniQueens ground out a thrilling 21-20 victory over Glenorchy.

The Does outscored their rivals four tries to three but couldn't convert their chances off the tee as Erika Ledster's boot secured the narrowest of wins for UniQueens.

Meanwhile, Bulls and Eastern Stags will enter this weekend's statewide junior deciders as favourites after stunning minor premiers Hutchins in their respective penultimate round fixtures.

These results mean Launceston, Taroona and Hobart Hutchins Lions will fly their flag in multiple grand finals while all clubs across the state will be represented in some way this weekend.

The Tigers have a golden opportunity to take out the men's Premiership and Championship division, the Penguins are eyeing a historic Premiership-Women's double, and Lions fans will have their fingers crossed for a statewide juniors double plus a men's Championship crown.
