The Tasmanian Rugby Union will host two current Wallabies across its 90th anniversary celebrations with Taniela Tupou and Angus Bell heading south next weekend.
Test props Tupou (47 caps) and Bell (20 caps) will be on deck for a host of TRU events, including the inaugural Hobart Get into Rugby clinic on Friday June 2, the junior North v South representative fixtures at University Oval, and the 90th anniversary dinner at Wrest Point.
“It’s a massive coup for Tasmanian rugby to have two rising stars of international and Super Rugby Pacific headed our way,” TRU president Shaun Killian said.

“Taniela and Angus aren’t just good players – they’re good people and even better role models.
“We’re excited to have them attend our 90th anniversary celebrations as guest speakers and panelists but what’s most exciting is to have them on deck and interacting with our juniors.
“It’s an opportunity to create lifelong memories for our next generation of rugby players and inspire Tasmanians to take the next step in a journey towards Wallaby and Wallaroo gold.”
