The Devonport Women’s Team have won the Statewide Spring 7s tournament.
The team was down to 5 players at one point in the final tournament, but hung in there to get the points they needed to win the series after strong performances in the Devonport, Hobart and Burnie rounds.
This concludes a very successful year for the Devonport Club, with the Men defeating Taroona in the Men’s Statewide Final, and a number of their senior men and women being selected in the Tasmanian 7s teams for the National Championships.
