The split is well and truly underway in this year's TRU men's competition with Taroona, Hobart Harlequins, Launceston 2 and Burnie all picking up wins in Round 10.
Last weekend saw four blockbuster games with Burnie's come-from-behind win over Uni and a fiery clash between Quins and Stags the standouts.
The Emus overcame an early 17-0 deficit on home turf to pip Uni 38-31, retain the Guiler Sleeve and go two wins clear atop the Championship table.
Meanwhile, Quins threw an early spanner in the Premiership works with a 38-28 upset win over Glenorchy at Eady Street.
Tevita and Toutai Havea ran rampant with two tries apiece to anchor the bonus-point victory, though Stags did enough to bank four tries for a consolation bonus point.
Taroona also banked maximum points from a 45-10 win over Devonport at Rugby Park with Callum Blowfield (two tries) and the reliable Noah Kazarine (15 points) playing key roles.
Launceston 2's 87-0 win over Easts rounded out the weekend's senior men's fixtures with Penisione Taugofie (four tries), Matataiasi Katoa (four tries) and Sailosi Vunidakua (three tries) chief destroyers at Royal Park.
