In 2024, Tasmania sent four squads (U14 Boys, U16 Boys, U16 Girls, U18 Boys) and a selection of 10 girls as part of Rugby Australia's U18 Barbarians to compete at the Southern States Junior Championship in Adelaide.

Tasmania tasted success with the U18 Barbarians, defeating South Australia 2-0 in their series.

Tasmania will also compete in the men's Australian Rugby Shield (ARS) tournament, held at Caloundra Rugby Club in October 2024.

Tasmania has competed under the Jack Jumpers moniker at the ARS and Emerging States Championship since 2000.
